In the passenger footwell there is a handle...

If you open the door (Passenger Side) then feel down under the glovebox, you will find a handle... Pull it!!!

If it is an older megane, the bonnet will just come open... You will need to lift the bonnet a bit and then feel for a little lever.. It is usually just to the right/left of the centre of the bonnet... Push this lever and then lift the bonnet..

If it is a new megane, pulling the lever in the passenger footwell will allow a little pull handle to come out of the front grille. Find this... Again it is usually to the right/left of centre, then pull it and lift the bonnet...

Again I hope this helps..

Should be a lever just under the glve compartment. Pull that. Now go to bonnet. Pull up as far as will go about 2" Feel under bonnet and a little back for another metal lever on a spring. Push that back and lift up bonnet. Bonnet stay prop should be on left side. take out of retaining clips and put top end in top lft slot of bonnet...Phew!! if this fails then knock on someones door and ask for assistance...Best i can do..Since i dont own a Megane

How long have you had this car? Haven't you got a manual? Perhaps this is a hint for you to stay well clear if what’s under the bonnet.
