ok, the truck has been running rough lately and the other day it did not start, so we jumped it ad that worked. then, it decided it was going to be hard to start, and we thought maybe it was just how cold it has been. it would turn over and everything, but would not start, then after a few times of trying to get it started, it just wouldnt turn anymore. the next day it would turn again, but then wouldnt start and couldnt get it to turn over again, what could this be
?

I just replaced the oil yesterday and the coolant, drove the car around the block and when I got back to the house white smoke was coming outof the exhaust, the car also died and was sluggish to start. Today It wont start and the oil looks like chocolate milk. Some people say I need a new head gasket, If I do, could anyone direct me on how to go about fixing it? And anything else to direct me from avoiding it in the future. Thanks

It is a 1994 Buick Le Sabre. 3800 V6. She said it used to run for a coupe sec, then shut off, and you could start it again, but it would die. I looked at it today, and i got it to "run" if i held the gas down a little. After that, i couldnt get it to start again. When you try to start it, a little bit of smoke comes from under the front exhaust manifold. It smells like unburned gas. i tried to read the OBD, but the connector is...different, so i dont want to mess anything up. Does any body have any ideas? Its her family's only car.

Ive heard bad things about the distributer-less ignition...
Im going to check the plugs tomorrow.
