I have a plugged heater core and im trying to find it on my 97 Saturn SL1. Any ideas?

If the core is plugged, clamp the two heater hoses using vise grips.
Remove the heater hoses from the heater core. Using a garden hose, put the hose onto one of the heater core pipes, and turn on the water, see if you have good flow through the core. If you do, put the hoe on the other tube of the core, reversing the flow....
If you still do not have good heat, drain the cooling system, remove the hose going to the aluminum pipe from the coolant bottle, flush it out using the garden hose. Replace the thermostat, put all the hoses back on, clamp them, fill the cooling system up.
Run the engine to purge all the air from the system. WALLA!

Should be on the passenger side of the car. Look for two rubber hoses going into the firewall. That where your heater core is.

Somewhere in no man's land where most people would have to completely tear out their dash panel and everything else in the interior to get to it. Follow your vents. LOL!
