i have a 2004 gmc envoy with 58000 miles and have some questions..i had it serviced and they show that a front differential pinion seal is damp...not yet leaking, but something to watch,..if this should leak, how costly would it be for me to repair?
i did buy the vehicle with 52000 miles on it which was high, but how much life does a vehicle like this have?.how many miles can i expect before many problems?
the tires now are 7/32 and 9/32...when will i need new ones?

I have a 1996 buick regal recently (about a month) the heat stopped being hot and just blows cold air. I have no indicator lights on at all and the defroster seems to be working. It snowed recently and the defroster cleared the windows no problem....buddy of mine mentioned the thermostat but anyone know where its located on this make/model and the level of difficulty in replacing it?? My 93 Pontiac Transsport has a unique issue. When I'm driving down the road all of a sudden my check engine light comes on and the idle jumps to about 2500 rpm's , and if the cruise is on it shuts off. There is no warning it also happens sometimes when I start the vehicle or when sitting at a light etc. Then later it goes back to normal and the check engine light goes off like nothing happened? ????????? ideas? gr-elvis

I have a 1980 Oldsmoblie Cutlass Supreme that my dad and i have saved up the money toke out the weak 260 that was in it and then dropped a 350 V8 which it now moves like a bat out of hell! but I would like to have dual exhuaste and headers put on it and would like to see if any body out there could suggest what would be the best headers for me to get. i would like my Olds to sound close to a Shelby Mustang but NOT louder than Shelby.
