can i add powersteering fluid to my 99 grand prix 3800? if so, where? i can't find the resevore to do so. i c a pump of some sort. does the fluid run internaty inside the engine/ trans?

It is on the right side of the engine compartment close to the firewall on the rear of the engine. It is tough to get to, but there is a cap that you remove from the top of the power steering reservoir to check the level and to fill the reservoir. You might want to wait until the engine is cool before you try to take the cap off. It takes a long funnel to add fluid.

Yes, you can add fluid. It is a bit of a bear to get to the reservoir... Look on the passenger side of the car, way down low towards the front of the vehicle. And I mean 'way' down there. You will probably need a long funnel to reach in there.

Look for the small black cap that has a steering wheel with waves under it .
