I have just bought a brand new Infinity 611a Mono amp - this is 456 watts - which the manual informes me that it draws
69A (when i use it at maximum power) - i am using 8AWG cable from the battery ( +ve ) and i created a ground point in the boot which the -ve connects to, i know this circuit works. except as soon as i put in a 60A fuse into the fuse holder by the car battery it blows, and if it doesnt it blows the fuses directly in the amp itself, i have checked the cable (+ve) and i cant find any breaks or shorts! Why is it blowing every fuse i put in???

and you can hear something spinning inside but when you insert cd it ejects it and will not play. does anyone have any suggestions?

My capacitor has two 1 gauge terminals in it?
One is + (positive)
One is - (negative)

I already know what i have to do with the ground. im just ganna run a 1 gauge short wire to the chassis.

but i only have a single 1 gauge terminal for the + and i need to connect my battery and amplifier to it.
I found an amplifier wiring diagram and it shows both wires merging into one terminal...

My question is..
How do i fit two 1 gauge wires into one 1 gauge terminal???

I got into an accident involving a lane change. All I remembered was going straight 98 Accord and then I hear sound, thinking that it might be my tire, but I looked over to the left side of my vehicle and saw the other party's 05 Tacoma passenger door smashed into my driver side rear view mirror. The only thing was damage on my side is the side rear view mirror. On her side, it's the passenger door. After 30 minutes passed, the county sheriff came by. He found my side rear view mirror(not the holding but the mirror still intact with glass) laying 1-2 inches on her lane. The holding for the mirror is still hanging on the next to the door and is not cracked, but its not intact to the door;you can move it in a circular motion. So basically, the holding cause the mirror to fall apart from the car.
At first we all agreed not to take an accident report. But he stood there for awhile and told the other party that he will write the report. He told me based on the mirror that I was at fault.

My Kenwood KDC 519 faceplate just quit working(no display on it at all)
The stereo will play and works fine, but no faceplate display.

I've got a BMW E36 saloon with a 1000w metre long bassbox with a 1000w amp. Inside the car, the bass sounds top, but outside you just hear rattling and muffled vibrations. How do I get the car to boom without adding too much weight on the car?

I need some ideas on how to own an old worthless factory speaker. If i hook just that speaker to my amp to blow the crap out of it, can it do damage to my amp? If so, i need some ideas lol because i want to send this thing to hell.
