It's typically located in the trunk or under the dash.

Not to sound rude, but have you explored the dashboard area?

I build Honda Accords and Acura TL's, and having done some time in the instrument-panel area of the plant, I've noticed that on average there's an AMAZING amount of space between your dashboard front and the firewall/car frame. I used to wonder how you could fit a 6-disc CD changer in there; now I see you could probably set up an AV system as well, and have room to spare.

Chances are good that it's set in a long-box shape/formation behind the head unit. I wouldn't advise randomly trying to take apart your dashboard; a Chilton's manual or someone with experience in car audio install would be the way to go, if you want to get at the hardware.

Good luck!

It's where you installed it. I don't think they came out with a CD Changer in Fords.
