I currently have a premium sound system but its getting old and doesn't sound good like it used to. I have been looking to mimic the sound it once had without adding subwoofers or a tube. I'm not a big basshead but I don't want the bass to be diminished either. Do you think by replacing the speakers with new 6 1/2" components I will get the sound desire? I've also thought of replacing the front speakers with coaxials and putting Midbass drivers in the rear. Either way the new speakers will get a new amp to work with. Which way would you go?

My mom got me a MP3 player and I just figured out that it'd be easier to use that than my CDs.

I'd ♥ to use it in my car but I have no idea how to hook it up to my car radio or if I have to buy a special jack {i.e. if you only had a cassette player in your car and you wanted to use your CD player you would buy a cassette adapter for it}.

Please help me out?

Can anyone tell me details of some second hand vendors of Toyota Genuine Audio in WA? I need to upgrade my 2003 Corolla normal CD player with a 2004/5 Toyota Audio.
But, my original head unit works really well. But, its not flashy, and cannot play MP3s.
Is it simple to plug it into the existing adapator?
Also, can anyone tell me where to buy a Dash Kit (if I wanna installa smaller CD Player like Sony) in Western Australia?

*Also, please tell me whether its worth to remove the original CD player from the car and install another one... (I feel guilty)

ima hook em up to a 200 watt walmart amp, and then into the car sterio. but im wonderin how i run them to the stereo. do i just plug it into the rear left and right audio hook ups on the back of my stereo or will that cut off the speakers i have in my back doors? what should i do?

So right now i have an oldsmobile aurora with 2 12 inch alpine type r's and a rockford 1800 watt amp. i am going to buy a new scion tc and was wondering what would be the loudest system to put in there. i dont want to spend over 1500 dollars on subs and was thinking a few things. i was going to buy 2 more type r's and have 4 of them and just buy a bigger amp or i was thinking about buying my friends 4 12inch l7's. i would really like to kno what people think on what is the loudest system to get... amp included. thank you

I am looking into putting some new speakers in my 06 Civic Hybrid. I want to spend about $250 a pair. The front are 6.5" 2 way speakers and the rear are 6.5" coaxial speakers.

Wondering what everyone thinks are the best speakers...I am fond of MB Quart, but also like Infinity Perfects and Polk's. JL makes the best subs known to man, but I don't know anything about their full range speakers.

Let me know your opinion!!

I have installed the 850 into my 98 accord that has been collecting dust in the closet.
Initially I was just looking to use the module for keyless entry, so I hooked up the ulock/unock circuit, the 12v constants, gnd, and horn.

I go to run the remote program sequence ... ignition on/off 3x& keep on...and then valet button, holding down the 3rd time till the siren chirp.

I get the chirp, and then hold down one of the remote buttons. The remote LED blinks about ten times, and I get no conformation chirps that the remote has programmed.

I am Stuck...any ideas?

i have a kenwood cd player with a harness but the previous owner first hooked the wrong power wires up and on top of that i think they plugged the wrong wires into the harness at the wrong place. if anyone knows which wires go where in the harness i would appreciate it its a kenwood kdc 222 45x4

Can I install one of these double DIN sized LCD DVD players in a 2000 cavalier? I know the cavaliers standard radio is Double DIN I just don't want to get stuck with a radio that wont fit.
