If you have high quality speakers the ohms wont be a problem unless you listen to them very loud for long periods of time daily although speaker shops etc will tell you not to mix ohms I haven't had any problems of course im running some old cerwin vega 12's they are pretty much indestructible

Parallel will up the resistance to 2 ohms, besides the undeniable fact that while you're wiring to a stereo amp and could be bridging the two channels seeing 2 ohms a area will see 4 ohms on the bridge. Meening you will the two choose for a a million ohm sub or a dvc 2 ohm sub

Yes this will work actually your amp is 300 watts into 4 ohms this means its is a 150watt into 8 ohms your subs are 350 watts rms Root Means Squared out to 700 max. Wire the subs in series these ratings they give you are usually across the board. Make sure they are in phase to prevent cancellations. At 2 ohms I would watch for heat issues if you going to play this setup loud.

When you say "rms" you mean Watts in RMS? Assuming this is what you said....
If you hook up an amp designed for 2 ohm output impedance into 4 ohm load, you will HALF the current that can flow into your speakers, effectively HALF the output. Which actually work out in your favor because your amp is too large for your speaker.

If your subs are single voice coil subs and your amp is bridgeable to 2 ohms then yes. Wait all amps can run at 4 ohms anyways, just maybe lower power. Even DVC subs will work. With 2 SVC you wire them in parallel bridging the amp. You can wire them direct. If they are DVC then you would wire the voice coils per sub parallel to the amp (not bridging still achieving 2 ohms).

Look at what the amp is @ 4 ohms. Most likely it'll be around 300 watts RMS, which is perfect.

Power from the amp is greater than the ratings of the speakers. However, if you do not use high volume levels it should be okay.

First off are you intending on running strictly base through the amp? If so you can run the amp. Are you hooking it up yourself?
