Can anyone tell me details of some second hand vendors of Toyota Genuine Audio in WA? I need to upgrade my 2003 Corolla normal CD player with a 2004/5 Toyota Audio.
But, my original head unit works really well. But, its not flashy, and cannot play MP3s.
Is it simple to plug it into the existing adapator?
Also, can anyone tell me where to buy a Dash Kit (if I wanna installa smaller CD Player like Sony) in Western Australia?

*Also, please tell me whether its worth to remove the original CD player from the car and install another one... (I feel guilty)

Thanks Heaps!

its totally worth it to put in a new head unit. Its possibly the most common modification on cars. you can buy a pocket kit for your car on ebay or similar, which should fill in the "hole" left by the cd player when you put in the smaller one.

IIRC, the carolla uses what they call a double DIN cd player, hwich is 2 normal slots tall. you can stick a new cd player in the top one, and a pocket in the bottom.

heres a good thing to do though: keep the original CD player, and put it back in the car before you sell it, and keep the new one, and put it in your next car :)

and the new CD player will not only do more stuff, but will also sound much better.

that being said, do not buy a sony one, buy an Alpine one. you may spend a tiny bit more, but theyre 100x better. sony car audio equiptment is total crap.
