HI there. Some of you may know that im a plane spotter. I am and have been touring quite a few of the airshows. I already film all the major aircraft at each show i attend but i would also like to know how i legally stand in recording the serial numbers of the aircraft there (both static and flying). The reason im asking is because ive been told at some airshows its not allowed but at some it is. I want to be able to do this as any spotter would but i dont want to land myself in prison

Call this an experiment - pilots need not answer. How much do you, as an average person, think that the following people are paid per yer?

A newly hired airline pilot, flying prop airplanes?

A newly hired airline pilot flying small jet airplanes?

A newly hired airline pilot flying medium/large jets?

An airline pilot flying medium/large jets 10 years into his/her career?

An airline pilot after 20+ years?

Please tell me that our aircraft engneers don't have us flying around in aircraft that are only an ignition source away from a potential explosion.

That guy in that movie “Catch me if you can” pretended to be an Airline pilot? Say if I practiced on Microsoft simulator and faked a pilot’s license and made up some flight hours in a log book would it be possible to fool the airlines into employing me as a pilot?

Hey aviation monkeys......(Hipocritical....)..After 2.5 years f searching, exploring, and deperateness for the "porra" attitude to go away....My father finally sined me up for a PPL or (PPA.."Porra" Language) starting this summer; August 8th. However due to there being 2 people in a 25 person course, we decided for me to attend an ATPL course but for a PPL License (Passing the ATPL Exams will simply then allow me to do the practicals for each license PPL, CPL, and eventually the ATPL :P....I was wondering, in terms of subjects or like detail or whatever the difference is for the PPL groundschool, difficulty (duhr), etc. compared to ATPL groundschool characteristics....Par sei, i feel the ATPL would have to do mroe with AIRLINER passenger safety like oxygen vents and such...Thanks! (I know more about aviation than you guys probably think....sounds cocky or like a rookie who thinks he does but ok wtv :D)...
