I have a manual 2002 Isuzu Rodeo. When driving on the highway/freeway, the shifter heats up to about 140+ degrees. If I turn on the air conditioning, it cools it down to a normal temperature (70's). This doesn't seem normal. Any ideas on what could be causing this?

I heard they were the same fuel that you can pour diesel in your hom heating tank, if you run a No# 2 fuel oil in your furnace.

This equipment is quite cheap now, could be linked to the ignition so you don't even have to remeber to switch it on. At the end of the trip you rewind the tape and start again. However if the event of an accident you can PROVE is was the other drivers fault as you have the event recorded. It should be law for all cars to have this it would clearly show who was at fault for the accident and the standard of driving before

Every time I go into one of the tunnels I question how it is that they are deep enough under the river to really work? That is, it never feels like we've gone deep enough underground and I always wonder how the big cruise ships don't scrape the tunnel with their underbellies. Are the tunnels built BELOW the river floor or above it? I guess they MUST be deep enough since they obviously function. I just can't visualize it especially when you drive into one and it feels like you are still relatively even with land.

Thanks
