I did my taxes on 123easytaxfiling.com and have done them on there for the past few years. This year my refund was supposed to be 3,686 which was great! I fowarded it to the IRS and it was accepted. 6 weeks later after it was only supposed to take 3 weeks they are telling me that 1,201 will be deposited into my account. WHAT????? Where is the other 2,485 dollars? Where does the IRS get these numbers from, I even paid extra to check for errors before fowarding my taxes to the IRS. Is there any way to dispute this? Im still happy that im getting some sort of a return but thats a really big difference in money.

I start a new job tomorrow and will only be making $12.13 an hour, 40 hours a week. I 'm kind of afraid to ask but can someone tell me what I will clear on my bi-weekly paycheck? What percent do I deduct to find out what I'll be making each week?
Thank you much :)

I filed 3 W2's and asked the lady how does the program work, all she said was that it takes 24 hrs for me to receive my check. I was supposed to get my big check (Federal is: $334) first but got my "state" return (State is: $99). I received my "loan" for 89.05 (I thought it was my state) but later found out it was my federal....They took 255 dollars to process it! What should I do? The lady doesn't want to help! If I would have known it was going to take out so much (plus the $137) they took, I would have never done it. Please help! :'(

I got the original message telling me that I my expected date was changed because of processing delays, and the refudn would be here by Feb. 27. but no reference code. That was the beginning of Feb and there has been no change to the message, no update at all. Spoke with IRS a couple times, nobody seems to know what the "reason" would be for this. Am I to assume it will NOT be here tomorrow because there is no updated info or could it still arrive?

I wish it would hurry up and get complete. This is about to give me a nervous breakdown.

I would like to know if a couple files jointly in the state of Georgia and one of the parties doesn't claim income received for a certain year and receives notification from the IRS, who is responsible for paying the money owed? Is it the person that files first, the person that didn't claim the money received or the primary person listed on the tax return?

I won a gaming system at a work party in december of 2006 but they waited until february to put it in my paycheck as "received merchandise". The item was about $400 and i had to pay $100 in taxes on it!!! First that seems like a lot of tax, and second, shouldn't that tax have to be charged in 2006 since that is when i "earned that extra income?" any thoughts or answers on this would be appreciated!!

Have income from 2004 of about 5000 from ebay. NOT A SIGLE RECORD OR RECORD KEEPING showing what was a complete loss, how much was actually net profit versus gross profit, business expenses, etc. The account has been long closed and deleted from ebay. Also, the Paypal account has been long closed as well. Where will I ever start?

I have my form 1098 information about the interest paid and property taxes paid in 2007. I could go the long route and itemize it all, but this is getting difficult.
Could I just do a 1040EZ and call it a day?
IF so, what about interest and property taxes that I payed in '06 out of escrow? Is the 1098 just for my own records?
