I got the original message telling me that I my expected date was changed because of processing delays, and the refudn would be here by Feb. 27. but no reference code. That was the beginning of Feb and there has been no change to the message, no update at all. Spoke with IRS a couple times, nobody seems to know what the "reason" would be for this. Am I to assume it will NOT be here tomorrow because there is no updated info or could it still arrive?

I wish it would hurry up and get complete. This is about to give me a nervous breakdown.

Now it is saying "I might have made a mistake" - however, there is still no reference code...and when I call the 800 refund hotline, it says the same thing about my refund date being changed.

bummer.

If you have tried the Where's My Refund link at I www.irs.gov or tried Calling the refund Hotline at 1-800-829-1040 and you are not getting information on your return and it has been at least 7 days since your return was filed, Call the main IRS number at 1-800-829-1040. unfortunately there is a long hold time due to the increased number of people calling to check their refunds and for W2 complaints. TO get live assistance push 2 when prompted and then hit 0 a few times, that will put you in line for the next available Customer Service Representative.

It happened to me, online no information, I called its in the bank tomorrow I filed on 2/08/07

If you were having it direct deposited tomarrow, the IRS website would of reflected that and not a vague message like you are now getting. I'm sorry, I think until you get the definite message that they are making a deposit on a certain date (only on Fridays) then you have no reason to expect it tomarrow. :(

The ones that had the delays and the codes, when they called the IRS, they were told to expect their direct deposits this Friday. I'm surprised that they could not give you any more info than they did when you called them.

If your refund is being mailed to you, don't expect it tomorrow. Refunds are mailed on Fridays, so it should have arrived by now if it was mailed last Friday. If it is mailed tomorrow, don't count on receiving it Monday because it's Presidents' Day (a federal holiday) and there'll be no mail.

If you were having it direct deposited, I hope you checked, double checked and triple checked to make sure your bank's routing number and your checking account number were correct on your return.

But I bet "the check's in the mail" so just relax.
