I have about a thousand clients to whom I mail letters yearly. Right now I just sit down and a stamp each letter with a 37 cent post stamp and send it. Is there a server out there that could help me save money and time. I've seen business' that have bulk stamps. How do I apply for one of those?

My colleagues and I have just formed a small consulting business and i've been tasked with finding out things that are needed to become an employer. In order words, i need to know everything we need to successfully employ people. We are thinking of bringing in about 5 employees - clerks, secretary, consultants etc, I just want to know if there's anything we need in the line of state tax account(to pay state taxes witheld directly), federal tax account (To pay federal tax witheld directly) e.t.c

Ok, so I am taking a class and I am a little confused on what is a project charter. One of the homework objectives is:

- Create a Project Charter (include project title, date of authorization, project manager's name, brief scope statement, planned approach for managing the project, roles and responsibilities matrix, sign-off section)

This is for an online bussiness. A brick and mortar store wants to add it to their bussiness to increase sales. I am confused on how should I do the charter, the other part sof the homework I understand.

I'm starting a new business, but will be operating without revenue as I go through the certification process. I'm opening a business bank account, but worry about running it with a $0 balance.

Question: can you deposit your income received from a position not associated with your business into your company's bank account to create the appearance of revenue? Is this deceptive? Illegal? Help!

I would like to open a small pet washing shop based from my garage. Nothing fancy but where people would be able to get some grooming needs for their cats and or dogs for a small fee.The needs would be; bathing, drying, brushing, nails clipped, pads cleaned, anal glands expressed, ears cleaned, and undercoat srtipped if needed.

Your friend owns a small sole proprietorship. He does his own bookkeeping, although he did not finish the chapter on closing entries before he went to work. He mentions to you the closing entries look like they take a long time. He wonders why he should bother to do them, because all he really looks at is the checkbook anyway. Convince him that closing entries are necessary.
