I'm trying to look for the benefits of my small consulting firm looking for contracting or subcontracting opportunities within Colleges or Universities. My boss thinks this is a good idea and I'm not so sure, any thoughts?

I'm new to this idea of starting up my own business; I would like to have my own comic book business, either online, or have my own store. Can anyone tell me what steps I have to take, so that my business is 100% legal. Example: what forms need to be filled out, where I can go for advice, what paperwork is needed, etc. Thank you.

sole proprietary, LLC, Inc., and the other labels that you can decide on when starting a new business. I want to be the only person selling my products, but I was told that sole proprietary might not be the only way to go. Please help. I'm so confused.

After years of family, friends and co-workers asking me to bake them cakes, cookies, etc. for special events, I’ve decided to try to start a small bakery business from home. I’m be making candies, cookies, cakes, tarts, and maybe branching out into snack foods. Most of my business will be online orders, as I will have no actual place of business so to speak. I’m having a hard time coming up with names though. I live in the Adirondacks, and wanted something that would be cute on a label and that related to nature. I’m considering Firefly Foods, Fox Paw Pantry, Brown Bunny Bakery, Duck Pond Desserts, Dandelion Desserts. I’m open to any other suggestions or votes on favorites.

What are the "qualifications" - size, revenue, time in business, etc? If you could provide a reference (link) that would be awesome!
Thanks!
