Business Rates?

Question

If you are made bankrupt on a small business do you still owe on the business rates to the council???
AM I still liable ??

If the business was a sole trader.. Yes... Partnership... depending upon partnership agreements.. but based upon the 'joint and severally' responsibility.. Yes.
Limited Companies and Partnerships... No.. the corporate body is responsible... unless you agreed to act as guarantor
