Yes, my grandmother sold it for some years and was always trying to recruit us or sell us products, She worked very hard at it all and never made a dime and the whole time believed she wasn't working hard enough or working right, because this is what they would tell her. She still has some involvement in it but is now a lot older and it isn't to easy to work on it as hard as they would like her to. It now has an online business called Quest, I believe.
I have used some of their products, basic cleaning products and makeup. The cleaning products are for the most part the same product you will find in the store with a lot pricier tag. Although I have seen some of the cleverest devices on the bottles to make life a lot easier. The makeup I don't tend to like, it is very heavy and the colors, no matter what I do, do not match my skin tone and seem to cake later in the day. Except for the eyeshadow which has nice strong colors that stay and do not fade.

They packed up the operation and moved to Canada. They still operate the online version of their business called "Quixtar" which was really big around the years 1998-2002.

Some of their products are really good and I would buy them if the sales rep didnt try to recruit me every time I made a transaction. They have this stain remover called LOC which gets out just about any clothing or furniture stain with a bit of elbow grease. Most of the other stuff is either pure CRAP or stuff you can buy in the store at a much cheaper price without having to wait for a UPS shipment. Back in the 1970's they were a good company simply because they had original products that you could not get elsewhere. But now in the age of the internet and global manufacturing, you do not have to depend on amway to get any particular type of product. Of course they would have you believe otherwise.

I've been diagnosed as a psychotic depressive. I take meds which keep it under control. I used to be very interested in psychotic disorders as well it seems that fate caught up with me and now I am suffering from such. I have a pretty good family structure no one as ever called me crazy except my roomates make fun of me once in a while cause I do weired things like jerking motions that the meds cause as a side effect. I guess now I see psychotic people as just regular people who have issues. One thing is for certain this experience has humbled me as now I am much more respectful of other people with problems.

It's really a pyramid scheme, but they get away with it because they are very rich and contribute to a lot of political campaigns. And they are like a religion. Religions get away with a lot. Especially the Church of Scientology, which is a business too.
