I own and operate an embroidery business and I was wondering if there is anyone else out there that does what I do. If so, what type of equipment do you have, how many embroidery heads and what software do you use?

I have a Single Head and a Six Head Tajima and I use the Tajima DGML by Pulse software.

I want some business books that focus on mistakes made by companies and I do not mean a book that is trying to give me advice on how to start up a business or something like that. I want one that is talking about a real company that made alot of mistakes.

I want to start my own retailer and wholesaling business by buying some interesting products from Chinese manufacturers and wholesalers. The problem is I have never been in this business so i dont know where to start from even though i found some good manufacturers and wholesalers on the net.My biggest concern is that if i choose different products from different manufacturers or wholesalers so would i be approaching them all separately e.g.toys from one place, stationery from the other and lamps ,photo frames, jewelry etc.How do i present myself to them and what words to choose to put my order if I am totally a beginner?Do I need to have a business license even if i want to sell them from home? What else do i need to do for a complete step by step process?

I'm planning on opening a massage therapy business. Unfortunately, my business will be close to a city where there are plenty of skeezy massage parlors that cater to men who are looking for a "happy ending". Therefore I don't want the word massage in the name of my store. I'm thinking something with the word "relaxation" or "revitalization" in the title. Thanks for helping!

How do you decide if something is worth buying? If something is priced low, do you think that means it's cheap, or just a good deal? If something is priced high, do you think that means it's really worth that amount, or it's over-priced? Do you think that the people who sell crafts are trying to rip you off and that it is cheap for them to make their product? Or do you think that it is a difficult type of artistic work? Please share your thoughts!

Have you found that there are certain parts of the country where the customers are more or less inclined to buy your product? Do you think there is an especially "generous" state? Or a particularly "cheap" state? Or is it just completely random from state to state and fair to fair, even within the same city? Please let me know your thoughts and experiences, and maybe what your product is, if you think it makes a difference to your experiences.

Supposedly all you do is collect online for fabric sold, deduct 10% for your commission and send them the rest of the money via money order or cashiers check. Is this a scam??
