I don't know how long you have worked for, but you need alot of experience to be able to cope with running your own business. It also depends on how hard working and how determined you are. You earn quite well at the moment, but you could quite easily be earning that sort of money monthly if you put your skills and knowledge into your own business - you could also end up earning nothing.

From my experience I have found the two most lucrative businesses to get into are for medium to long term riches - Real estate (investing in property - worldwide) and for short term and sustainable riches IMPORTATION of consumables from anywhere. Think of things people use everyday and that generate repeat business, and look for where you can buy good quality at low prices, create good distribution channels and believe me you will make loads of money, as long as you are ready to work four times as hard as you work when working for someone else. Believe me, it isn't any easier, but it will be very rewarding.

Get yourself a PlugInProfit Site. The training is GREAT! This is not a get-rich-quick system, but once you begin earning, the profits are great! When you have learned to market online you are literally set for life. Just continue to keep abreast of the changes online... the internet is still an evolving entity.

Starting you own business is never easy but an online business is a lot cheaper to start and the risks are a lot less than an offline business. The great thing is that you are in control and you sink or swim on your own efforts

I wish you every success!

having read through some of the answers given i see that there are people that make good use of yahoo answers and those that dont.
thumbs to the person that that mentioned RICH DAD'S WEBSITE. reading robert t. kiyosaki books is very helpful for long term term wealth. as reader of most of his books, i would also advise that a get rich quick scheme is a bad idea. RICH DAD POOR DAD will be a good start.

think of being WEALTHY not being RICH. being rich is for your generation while wealthy goes down at least 3 generations after yours.

more grease to the elbow of who mention mutual funds. but i personally will not advise mutual funds. i would rather advise buying shares in a very good company.

think of this this way
80,000 per year
expenses of about 40, a year
save 20,000
invest 20, 000
recently investing in utilities and health care brings u a profit of about 30% per month.
let say u get 20% profit,
invest 20000 for the first month, u get 4000 profit TAX FREE.
a total of 24000. invest the next month and get 4800 profit
making 28800.
profit of 8800 in two months.

If you were 26 and earning 20K then i'd understand your point of view!!

Get an appointment with a financial advisor and have your assets work for you.

I have to say, i am sincerely doubting your above statement. You would need to have some degree of talent to be earning the above salary, asking for a workable business idea on here......???

Unless of course you're not talking about £'s sterling?!

I do know a workable business idea where you can keep your job but create a residual income by sparing 6 to 10 hours a week in your spare time. The following are the salient features that may interest you:
No logistics like no licensing, registration, no shipping & handling etc...
No inventory,Time flexibility,No boss,No employee etc..
Inflation proof,No Risk (money back gurantee )
Residual income for life
No education requirement
No upfront huge capital(affordable investment)
Expertise provided free of cost,if you are willing to learn
Must be teachable.
Work is required it's not get rich scheme kind off stuff.

I work from home in shorts and T-shirts and sometimes topless. I strive to create a new page for my websites everyday but I have all the freedom I need and making money 24/7 on the internet with Google Adsense and some affiliate programs. The only thing that tie me down is 'how much income I want or need'. Because the more websites and traffic I have will determine how much income I can much.

Anyone who can create websites or blogs to provide lots of good information can make money from Google Adsense. Blogger.com and Google pages lets you create blogs for free and allows you to make money too.

You can make money by joining me or Google as a publisher and publishing Google Adsense on your websites. If someone clicks on those ads, you will earn money.

Why sign up with me? Because we can link to each other to get more traffic and income.

I would shoot for the business option. If you are looking at moving around and traveling, you might look at an internet-based business. I started an energy drink business a couple of months ago and it is taking off like wildfire. It might be something you would be interesed in. If I can be of further assistance, let me know.
