kind of a stupid question but having an argument about it my roomate says you can't but I have personally done this. He says i'm full of it cause he works at an automotive store and deals with credit cards all day. So that is about it and the reason i'm asking. He won't listen to me so if any one else out there can give him an answer, Thanks.

I made an online payment a few days ago, and this evening I look at my balance through Online Banking and it says that I am -0.54 overdrawn.
I will have to pay in some money tomorrow morning, but will I get a charge for just 55p?
I haven't got an over-draft allowance.

I am a college student, and have about $400 in my 401k account from a company I no longer work for. At this point, I am not concerned with retirement funds but could definitely use a little extra cash. Can I take this money out of my 401k? How do I go about doing that? Will they charge me? Even if they want half of the money or something, I would still withdraw it without thinking twice.

I'd like to hear how some people plan their expenses for healthy eating without spending a fortune. Sample menu and prices would be of interest. Thanks.

I currently have a payday loan that is way past due ( they still call but have not sent to collections yet ). I need to know if this will cause me to be denied a refund anticipation loan. Anybody have experience with this situation? I plan to pay this off with with my tax refund. I live in Indiana if that helps......

These are U.S. Series EE savings bonds, purchased from 6 to 18 months ago. I know nothing about how this works as I didn't purchase them myself; they were given to me by a relative who has passed on. Also, can they be cashed at my credit union or is there some particular place they have to be taken? I would certainly prefer to save them but am in dire financial straits right now and anything I can get would be helpful!

I was made bankrupt for a silly amount in February 2005 and discharged in February 2006.

I now need to get hold of £6000 (unsecured) for home improvements (repair central heating, repair roof and rotting window frames ETC)
Is there a lender out there who will help me?

I am confused. I bought a 1st house and paid about $4k in interest according to form 1098. Does that mean I get all of that back in a refund? I entered all my info in H&R Block and it says I OWE $20.00!! How can I owe if this whole mortgage interest is supposed to be refundable?

I heard an advertisement from John Commuta that asserts that he can help eliminate one's mortgage and debt in a few years. He sells some tape for $9.95, the cost of shipping, and the user then has the option to purchase the program after their 30 day free trial period. I am wondering if anyone has purchased these tapes or can explain the miraculous debt reduction principles he asserts. I have not purchased the tapes, therefore I do not have any idea as to what his strategies are, but I am curious as to whether anyone from Yahoo Answeres has purchased the tape or can explain his strategies.
