Because he's not lying. There ARE grants out there. What he doesn't tell you is it's next to impossible to qualify for most of them. He's like any other scammer. Preying on those who don't have the wisdom to figure out that if you want something worthwhile you have to earn it. Fortunately for him there's an endless supply of people who want something for nothing.

Because unfortunatelly we don't live in the Wild west any longer where someone would have put a bullet in the back of his brain a long time ago.
Heck, why are criminals protected more than ordinary people these days?
Why isn't there a way to track down spammers and make them die a slow agonizing death?
