I'd like to hear how some people plan their expenses for healthy eating without spending a fortune. Sample menu and prices would be of interest. Thanks.

Find a farmer's market in your area. That way you get fresh delicious vegetables for a little less than the grocery store. Also, stock up on brown rice, wheat couscous, dried beans, fat free yogurt and lean inexpensive meats (imitation crab, tuna in the can (with water), ground turkey, etc) so that you always have healthy food on hand. I had to buy little bits at a time but I'm getting my whole kitchen to the point that its completely healthy.

grow your own veggies and if you have too many of them in the summer, CAN them !!

I buy them from the farmer down the street. I have peppers, tomato sauce and pickles. etc.

McDonald's.

It's not healthy but one meal a week it's not going to kill you.
