I am interested in opening a Roth IRA account with a brokerage firm. I have tried to find a firm who will let me buy shares listed on international exchanges (Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia, London, Madrid, etc.) either through them or through another overseas firm, but where they are still held in my IRA. Can anyone point me in the direction of such a firm that offers to serve as an IRA custodian? Thanks.

I'm trying to get a loan to buy a new home and keep my old home as an investment property and rent it out. I haven't found any information about it (except swing loans which normally have to be paid in 6 months?).

I have been unemployed for 10 months now and my unemployment insurance has run out. My credit cards are maxed; I cannot get a loan and have had no luck finding a job. (And yes I have looked, have had interviews, have registered with staffing agencies). I just applied for food stamps, but I am about to become homeless.

Can anyone advise of a reliable financial company that can arrange an unsecured loan and can really deliver without charging 50 pounds? (assuming that it cannot be performed with the bank)?
Can anyone give references for provident personal credit (though it's only up to 500 pounds small loan)?

Thanks

I don't file taxes and I'm very tax ignorant but I have a question for you.

My friend is a part-time student in New York, she has a 2 year old daughter and taxes were taken out of her check. She hasn't worked that long heck she only made $3795.00 for the 2006 year.

So does she have to file or not? and she wants to know is she eligible for the dependant credit thingy..

My mother has terminal throat cancer. She wants me to pay off all her credit card bills with the life insurance, but it's a very small policy. I want to know if the credit card companies can go after her husband for payment even though none of them are joint accounts. He is not even a signer on any of the accounts.

I am asking you to help me. I am going to lose my home, car and everything I've worked very hard for. I work 60+ hrs per week as a nurse. My husband has been very ill the past 2 yrs. and has not been able to work. I attempted to file bankruptcy today but I would have to repay my debts in order to do so under the new bankruptcy laws, which I don't understand. I cannot file bankruptcy and I cannot pay the debt I currently have. My wages are being garnished so I am losing 25% of each paycheck. I am accepting any suggestions or monetary donations. Please help me. I have nowhere to turn. Cherie Bennett 222 Kensington Pl. Marion OH 43302
