From the USA to the UK, that is. I want to pay by check, but the banks won't cash it...so what are the other options and how do I go about it? Thanks so much

There's a 25% probability that one or both of them will live until what maximun age? BTW, I'm not interested in your drunken guesses. Please tell me how you got your answer, especially if it does not involve your anatomy. Tony Pepperoni asked me why I don't look up average life expectancies. Because (1) they're everywhere, I've looked at them, they don't answer my question, and how stupid do I look? and (2) I 'm looking for the survivor life expectancy of a man and woman of 78 and 76 years at the 1 in 4 outside chance. I made an error on a check and went over my cash advance limit. I then tried to rectify it plus fees to my university (wrote a new check that is WITHIN my limit). The credit card company cancelled the SECOND check wrongly and gave me a credit. Three days ago they REASSESSED the fee. I called and the first person I talked to told me that the supervisor came and decided that I SHOULD be assessed the fee and reinstated it. Then I talked to the supervisor and they said my school (university of michigan) attempted to run the RETURNED check again. My school is telling me I don't owe them any money and that the check hasn't been returned. All they have assessed me is the first check that was over the limit (which suprise suprise, they didn't try to run through again after it was returned)..so someone is making a mistake.

What do I do??

Why are North American currency notes the same size & colour (English spelling not color). Does it not present problems for poorly sighted people? & present a boon for forgers? Does any other country use same size/colour notes?

My husband spent 26 years in the Canadian Arm Forces, another 9 years doing the same job only as a civilian. He knew he would lose on his service pension but not off the other one and when he turned 65 he went a 100.00 in the hole. WHERE IN GOD"S NAME IN THEJUSTICE IN THAT,WHEN WE ARE SUCH HONEST PEOPLE. I have an old school loan, through the school, NOT federal loan, and we have not paid it. A lawyers office contacted me this week, to tell me if I don't pay the $3,000 by the end of this month, they will sue me and will garnish my wages. At this point, if I try to settle with the college, are they allowed to work with me, or no, since it is with a lawyer? Any suggestions? I don't have $3,000 to pay in a week, and I don't want to go to court. HELP, please!!!

But now I have bills pilled up that I cant pay a seven year old child to provide for no child support I have checks bouncing everywhere and my utilies are 3 months behind. I cant get any money out of the childs father becouse he's mentally disturbed and he gave away all his money to his relatives that are caring for him.I have no relatives I can live with so I'm pretty much on my own I am working my buns off making $516.00 a week and by the time my paycheck hits the bank it's gone for insuffent fund fee's. Im 15 years old. I would like to start gainin money to have for my future. Right now I'm taking personal finance, and plan to take some other business classes. Woudl it be better to buy stocks or bonds. Would you reccommend a credit card. For like minimum payments. i dont want to be payin debts until i'm 35 on credit cards. I am not a loser or a lazy mooch looking for a handout. My husband and I work so hard and just can't seem to catch up. I was a victim of a hit and run, they found him, but his insurance is doing what insurance companies do. Hoping to get a settlement to get us ahead, but I have to take it to court.
