Does anyone know the minimum age to get a checking account in any bank or credit union in michigan? even with parents co signing?

In Michigan you can legally get a checking account as a minor. But many banks may want to have a parent also on the account.

I am from Michigan. I got one when I was 17, without my parents. My sister got one when she was 16 but i think my mom cosigned. Call the bank.
