For example, SEC controls financial trades, FCC controls radio and television....

Who do I contact to report illegal debt collection practices?

Verizon phone uses AFNI to collect debts and I just now found out I'm in debt $300 to em from seven years ago?!?. I did a google search on "Verizon AFNI" and found many people reporting it as a rip off double billing or not even their responsibility. I need to know who the reporting agency is so I can use it as a velvet hammer to get to the bottom of the situation.

Clingy Company budgeted the following unit sales:

Each unit requires 2 yards of fabric which is estimated to cost $ 3.50 per yard. It is the company's policy to maintain a finished goods inventory at the end of each month equal to 20 % of next month's anticipated sales. Clingy company also have a policy of maintaining a raw materials inventory at the end of each month equal to 10 % of the yards needed for the following month's production. There were 1,200 yards of fabric on hand at March 1.

They said that they were looking for a finanical manager in the U.S they want to send me a check and then I send the money to whatever contact info they provide. I have been paying into my share option account for about 6 months. The contract allows contributions for 5 years, when the option should be taken. The company I work for is under a bid from a private consortium. Will I still have an option to buy shares in 2011? I think Sallie Mae is evil. I have $115,000 in student loans with Sallie Mae, but I feel that their accounting, collection, interest accruement and loan management system is wholly corrupt. This is in addition to corrupt loan dispersment and advisement which I experienced when I originally received these loans.. Does any one know of any specific class-action lawsuits that I could possibly join? Due to the fact that my loans are federally consolidated, I am currently wed to Sallie Mae and would very much like a divorce to repay these loans to a responsible lender/collector. I can list numerous, and I mean numerous, improprieties levied by Sallie Mae - many of which may fit the details of an existing class-action suit. My loans were originally dispersed in California.

Someone brought a textbook from me on Half.com a subsidiary of ebay. When the book didn't arrive on the latest expected date she sent me an e-mail. I told her I mailed the package the day after she ordered it and showed her the address I mailed it too. That was 3 weeks ago. Now she's asking for her money back. I found my receipt. Below my zip code it has a 10 digit number along with a dash then a 4 digit number. Is that the track and confirm number. I put that in the track and confirm on USPS.gov but nothing came up. There's also a bill number. How do I find where this package is? Also I'm having a strange feeling about this person like why did she wait 3 weeks between e-mails. any suggestions?

I'm opening a small business and was directed to file as an LLC so as to protect my personal assets. But everyone that I would like to setup an account with wants a personal guarantee whether I’ve been in business 1 or 10 years. What good does the LLC serve under those conditions?
