I have two basic questions regarding arts copyright , one my work and the other a very old copyrighted product.

1)
My illustration work has been used by a famous rock band
for over 20 years on on their album covers. I was never paid
for it's use but I have not disputed it . Recently they have
licenced the design for a t-shirt and did not inform me.

Q - Should the band now compensate me for the T-shirt
design at a higher than normal price , due to their past use
history as well as the current marketing sales?

2)
I have some ideas for a product using design elements
sold by a company but origionally created in 1893 .
Their catalog even uses the origional photos from that era
to illustrate their catalog. They use the 1898 molds to make these and have not altered the designs. Their catalog
says" copyrighted" designs

Q- Are these designs still copyrightable by them , unaltered
after 109 years?

Does anyone have tips about selling items on ebay.
I don't want to buy a book. But if you have personal experience or have read one of the books (and can give me some tips without infringing on copyright) then i'd appreciate the tips. Also, how do you know what people want to buy?
Thanx.

We are wanting to buy a home that costs $52,000.00. We have limited funds for down payment and closing costs..no more than $2000.00, our monthly income is $2100.00. The only debt we have besides regular bills (phone, electric, gas, cable, internet, car insurence) is a monthly car payment of $160.00. He has poor credit, but my credit score is 681 (..begining to build credit) and I also have perfect payment history and all satisfactory accounts. Is there any options for mortage loans in our situation or does anyone have any suggestion, help, or any additional information on what to do? Thank in advance!

I'm going out of town for a week. I can tell the post office to hold my mail, but I need to do the same for UPS because I am expecting a package. In my neighborhood UPS just leaves packages out on the doorstep in plain view, but I don't want a box on my doorstep sitting out there for a week.

During July, SoundWaves sold 200 radios for $50 each. Each radio had cost SoundWaves $30 to purchase and carried a two-year warranty. If 5 percent typically need to be replaced over the warranty period and one actually is replaced during July, for what amount in July should Soundwaves debit Product Warranty Expense?

How smug should i feel?
Lloyds tsb just coughed up my backdated charges.. every last penny. They decided to settle rather than face me in court.
Do you think they realise they are crapped on now that we know how much they have been conning us all?

In the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, is a debt collector allowed to speak to the spouse of a Consumer if the spouse is not a signitor of the agreement creating the debt? If so, does the consumer have to give permission first? I'm trying to figure out if a collector is allowed to speak to my wife for a credit card I had before we were married.

sub-prime lenders give loans to people with bad credit. It's a small segment of the market. The news is coming out that people are defaulting on these loans.. Why is this suprising? it's a sub prime market. Of course risky loans to people with bad credit are going to be defaulted on. The market is plummeting on this news as if it is a suprise somehow.
What gives?
