I know that getting professional photos isnt cheap... BUT I do have what it takes to model, in fact, I have in the past. I just thought that 1695 was pretty steep to get my shoot/portfolio/com cards etc. updated. I dont really have anything professional thats current. Any thoughts out there?

First rule you should know is any modeling agency that asks the future models for any kind of money or expenses is a total scam. Modeling agencies get there money from their clients like Calvin Klien, Ralph Lauren, the big wigs. They should never get any money from the models because its the huge client that pays for the agency to find them the model they are looking for. I was watching the Tyra Banks show and this information came directly out of her mouth. She is a world renowned model and should know the truth. Of coarse this agency sounds legit.....they have to in order to scam you.

Contact the Better Business Bureau in your area, they will tell you if the company is legit or not. As for your portfolio, call some local professional photographers, you'd be surprised at the talent local artists may have, probably cheaper too. You could also contact some reputable modeling agencies and see if they could recommend some good photographers. Just so you know, more and more agents and modeling agencies prefer face to face and poloroids, it's the real you, natural, not retouched, airbrushed or digitally enhanced.
