The ball needs to be like a hamster ball without the ridges and stuff inside it. Something like an acrylic material. I've talked to several custom ball makers but they want hundreds of dollars. I'm looking for something around 5$. Anyone have any ideas or contacts for this type stuff?

When you want just one and you find a company that already makes it, and doesnt have to tool up to make it specially for you, then act like you are going to be making a product that needs the right ball and you are looking to get samples eaither cheap or free to see if it works for your application.
it is a little underhandede, but so are they .
