I know this will depend, of course, but what I am looking for is rule of thumb type figure. IT should drive companies profits and performance when working well. When it isnt working well it inhibits performance. Hence what i am looking for is people's experience of what a quality IT system costs, and clearly this is related to size of company. Hence, i have asked if you can provide this figure as a percentage of revenue.

Hi guys,

I am having trouble choosing a future career. I am a college student, but have not chose the major yet.

I have taken two test, one is MBTI test, and the other one is U&I.

From the tests above, I have talent on the career that deals with the machenical things. But I do not want to end up woking in the factories, etc., because in today's world, the manufacturing industry does not make the "lots" of money.

In today's world, the financial and the "corporate administrations", etc., making loads of money. Plus, I like living in the big cities like L.A. or N.Y., but those manufacturing facilities are located on outside of the big cities.

My question is this; do you recommend any kind of test that reveals what kind of career I want deep inside of my mind?

I sent a Sony TV to a London address 29/12/2006 by Parcel Force it was tracked No SN0101494 to London West LD depot at Concord Road Acton London at 04.35 on the 30/12/2006 and then disappeared.
I phoned the local Parcel Force office at Perth and spoke to the manager he said he would try and trace the TV, He told me that the depot at London was burgled on the 31/12/2006 he said he would look into it that was on the 4/01/07 he then sent me a claim form the next week which I fill in and sent to there claim office in Glasgow on the 10/01/2007 It is now the 02/03/07 I received a letter to say that they received the claim.
Am I entitled to the full price of the TV it was new and never out of the box
I Have recieved a cheque for £150 as full payment.
Can I claim the full amount as they let my parcel be stolen.

IT can’t really give a company a strategic advantage, because most competitive advantages don’t last more than a few years & soon become strategic necessities that just raise the stakes of the game. Discuss.

The division in my present company has been sold to another company. Our team was told in a meeting that our jobs would be secure and that our operations would continue as is with some changes in the future. I would still be working with the same people under the same immediate supervisors. We were led to believe this was a good thing. I don't feel so secure. I have no experience being in a part of a company that was sold to another one. My fear is that the culture will change considerably and that at some point, we'll all be expendable. The change is not yet effective and I can choose to accept or decline the new job offer, but the transaction was revealed a few days ago and with less than two weeks before the effective date. I think that sucks. Are my fears well-founded? Should I bail?

We are barely sliding by (as most people are these days) and don't know where to turn. Is there any agency out there to help struggling, low income people? We are in so much panic! It's never been this bad before and we don't buy things we shouldn't!
