What if Bill Gates were to buy as many companies in America as he could. I mean all the big companies in all areas of industry until he ran out of money. Then what if he earned enough money in one life time to buy all the major and some minor companies in the U. S. How would the U.S. economy be affected and what would the government do?

If a band signs to a label, is that a small record company that is owned by another record company which in turn is owned by a coporate record company like time warner? Like for example Def Jam, is that its own company that pays its artists and distrubutes their CD's?

If you've ever had experience with tracking a package through the USPS website, you know that it sucks! Every time I've tried to "track" a package there it ends up not updating until the day the package arrives and I usually haven't seen the update until I already have the package in my hand. The company I ordered from assured me that the package would be here by Saturday March 24th but it was picked up at noon on Saturday March 17th.

I received a letter from them saying that my meter needed to be replaced and they would be calling today between 8am and 8pm. They emphasised that someone had to be at home. I have waited all day, not gone out, no dogs walked, and they haven't turned up. I'm so angry that I'm determined that they ain't getting away with it! Is there some sort of compensation for this kind of thing? I want to be well prepared before I phone and complain.

Why do you think the US are dominating the internet business?

I will like you to give 10 reasons why you think US companies are in complet dominion of all viable internet business : yahoo , google , ebay ,amazon , paypal , msn , youtube , myspace etc . why do you think is hard for start ups to come from countries that are not US . what is the magic ingredient found in the US that is not found else where . what is the magic wand that the US has that is hard to be copied else where .
