If you've ever had experience with tracking a package through the USPS website, you know that it sucks! Every time I've tried to "track" a package there it ends up not updating until the day the package arrives and I usually haven't seen the update until I already have the package in my hand. The company I ordered from assured me that the package would be here by Saturday March 24th but it was picked up at noon on Saturday March 17th.

Their system is flawed because the last update I got was on March 17th the day it was picked up in Paraguay. I very seriously doubt it is still stuck in some office in Paraguay!

Another way to find out is to get connected with USPS Custome Services. Since you've been assured that the package would arrive on 24th Mar, you will need to wait until 24th Mar before any actions can be taken. As for updating of their system to enable customers to track, do be patient because updating takes time. Anytime within 24 hours is reasonable given the size of their customer base.

All I know is that the USPS took 11 days to deliver a small first class package from Illinois to North Carolina. If I ran a business that way I would go out of business. Of course there is a USPS rate increase due in May!

By what method did it leave Paraguay? FedEx, DHL or other carrier? If it was sent by one of the above carriers, you can't track it on the USPS (U.S. Postal Service) website.

Contact each carrier to find out the status of your package, you will need the tracking number from the company where you purchased the merchandise.

10 days if your mail service is door to door if it is a PO Box or FPO-Ap type then 10-15. Tracking numbers are bonk, next time if ava. get flat rate it's faster for some reason. I live in Japan and it takes 10-14 days.

well, the amount of time for a regular paackage to take to go from paraguay to houston, texas area depends. if paraguay is a international area, then of course it will take longer to get to houston, texas(maybe 7-10 days approx) than from a domestic area. usually when you want to send a package to lets say to san francisco, california from houston, texas, then it will take like 2-5 days approx to ship it, and another 3-5 san san francisco. for more info, please contact me at: thedramaofhistory@yahoo.com thanks:)

If you use overnight delivery from either Federal Express or United Parcel Service, overnight (most of the time).

Depends on customs and how they sent it to you i.e. Express saver, next day air, etc.
