It is basically a statement of what you are trying to accomplish - what your "mission" is. What you are setting out to do. Hope this helps

It is a statement of what a buisness is going to do, is trying to achieve, or wishes to encourage.

It can also be as simple as "to make a crap-load of money any way possible."
