My wife and I are being driven crazy by collection agencies, creditors and businesses of every stripe since we've moved into our new home and gotten a new land-line phone number. Apparently the person who used to use the number must've been a major debtor because we get about 5-6 calls every day from people who want to speak to her. When the calls are from a person (IE: not a robo-call, although we get those too), we politely explain that we don't know the person they're looking for and that we don't know how they can be reached, but this doesn't seem to do any good because they just call us back later.
I spent an entire morning dealing with one of these companies after getting a robo-call and they told me the matter was settled, but we continued to get calls from them.
We're already on the Federal Do-Not-Call list, but as I understand it these people are exempt because they're not telemarketers and they've had prior business with the number.
What can we do to make these calls stop?

But, what should I spend it on? Or should I save it up till I get more?

Companies around the world have in later years adopted formal statements of corporate values, and senior executives now routinely identify ethical behavior, honesty, integrity, and social concerns as top issues on their companies’ agendas.

What are your experiences with working with corporate values? How did you identify your company's core values? How did you communicate them? How did you implement them?

I opened an agency offering a lot of services such as translating paper work from English to Polish, offering a lot of every-day kind of services that the average Polish only speaking person could use. This agency benefits the Polish people who can't do simple things for themselves like clarify billing letters, file taxes, get an insurance quote, DMV-related services, etc. Any advice on how to gain customers, and business? What other services do you think I can offer? Please advise. All advice is appreciated.

I want to send £1000 to my friend in Australia. Barclays used to charge £8 for an international money order in Australian dollars, but I have been told they only do them in US dollars, sterling and euros now, and the cost is £25. I do not know my friend's bank account details, so a money order seems the only option. Any suggestions please?

I am considering asking the corporation who financed my car for a payment behind the book when I move in about 2 months so that I could use the extra money. I have had my car for 2 years without any late payments. I got a certificate in the mail when I owned a Ford car for a payment behind the book and all I had to do was call them to let them know I was taking advantage of the opportunity. I am told that it is once a year but not sure. Thanks for your responses...
