Sorry to say, but some wrong answers were given. 1. Did you pay for the transaction as a credit transaction? This would mean your bankcard has the Mastercard or Visa card logo on it, and when you bought the item you did not give them you pin number or do a check by phone.
2. Read the section on your statement regarding diputes. Disputes have to be in writing. And you may only have so many days to dispute an item after your statement closing date. So do it now. Phone calls are a waste of time.
Keep it simple. Dear Bank, Regarding account 777777 I am disputing a charge to my account. On DATE I purchased item ABC from XYZ company. The item was never delivered. I called XYZ and they credited me back the charges of $ on DATE. Six months later on DATE XYZ company charged $ on my account.
I have called XYZ they are confused as to why they charged me and as of DATE have not corrected the error.
This is an obvious error. I did not authorize this charge and XYZ made no attempt to contact me before charging me.
I request that BANK immediately and without further question or delay reverse this transaction. Please confirm in writing that you will reverse this charge.

Certified Mail
Local Branch Manager
In general mail order items can be disputed without question. Even the bank may not understand this. Your take is simple, credit my account now.
Good luck

Dispute the charge with your bank. Be very careful using a check card online as they do not have the same protection that regular credit cards do. With a regular credit card the dispute procedure is much easier and if there is a fraudulent use then you are only liable for the first $50.00 in most cases. With most check cards you have no protection at all for fraud. Someone could clean out your checking account and you would have no recourse. You are also leaving yourself open to misuse of your checking account itself such as money laundrying or becoming the clearing house for scam artists. If you don't want or can't get a regular credit card then check for prepaid credit cards. They aren't as good as regular cards but it's better than getting wiped out by some crooks. Good luck.

Call the bank but look first at the policies about such things. At my bank I only have 30-60 days to dispute a claim after I get my statement. They may tell you that you are SOL, but in a nice banker way. No matter what the policies are call any way they may be able to work with you and help. Speak with the branch manager if possible make sure you have your documentation. You could call that place of business but sounds like you may not have any leverage there.Good luck

You also may want to contact them in writing and ask them to reverse the charges.
And you may want to contact your local Better Business Bureau to file a claim if the charges are not reversed in a reasonable amount of time. You will need to submit specific details as well as what you did to resolve your dilemma.
It may also be a good idea if you contacted an attorney and inquire what you legal rights are in this instance in case you need to sue them in Small Claims court since you did no receive the item. Remember there is a Statue of Limitations for filing claims so you may also want to ask what the time frame is for your state.
Document everything in case you may need to recall any details as evidence in the near future.
And lastly contact the Consumer Affairs Department in your state to also file a claim. They can assist you in trying to resolve problems of this nature
Hope things work out for you.
God Bless and Have a Happy New Year!

Call your bank and tell them you would like to file a chargeback and give them the information. Depending on the branch they may provide you with a provisional credit before the dispute is resolved.

when you consider that a Cashier's examine is as good as money they gained't enable you to get a Cashier's examine rapidly out of your credit card. What you will would desire to do is get a money boost on the credit card and use that money to purchase the examine.
