Sometimes, technology and visual aids can be more of a distraction than a helpful component to a presentation. Provide an example of this from a business presentation. How could it be changed to be more effective?

In 2003 I moved my two Sky box from one room to another and reconnected them back to the phone line. Unfortunatly the cable that I used had some sort of problem with it (Think it only had two cores or something) and the Sky boxes wern't being seen by Sky any more. I didn't realise this and carried on as normal.
Now, rightly or wrongly, I had not been opening the monthly Sky statement as it always said the same thing so I was just filing them. When I did eventually open one in 2006 (Because I received two at the same time) I found that one of them was a disconnection notice for not having my Sky boxes connected to the phone line.
When I rang Sky to ask them about this they told me that they had been sending out a letter from time to time about this. They had also been increasing my monthly payments by 1-2 pounds a month. When I asked how much had been over payed it came out at over £750!!!!
I'm told that I am not allowed a refund for any part of these charges.

Any advice ???

Ok,
Me and my friend are 12. We would like to make some more money. We already both get allowance and we are both homeschooled. We know each other from church. Now we were thinking about starting babysitting. We were thinking it would be e-zier with both of us there. Can you give me some rate ideas? And will anybody hire a male?

Give all the advice you want.

Rx only sleep aid Rozerem is really a naturally occuring hormone available at health food stores called melatonin. It has been slightly tweaked chemically so it can be patented & sold for far more as an Rx.
The Rozerem site says it's 3-5x better at regulating sleep than melatonin. What they don't say is it's recommented dose is 8mg. Melatonin is usually sold in 2-3 mg doses. So Rozerem with 3-4x more chemical floating around in your system is going to have a better chance at hitting those receptors in the brain.
My doctor told me this and acted as if it's no big deal. This is just one example of what I am talking about.

The Rx companies have this country by the throat & are trying to force their way into the natural suppliment realm via the back door.

My question(s):
Does this tick you off at all?
Any ideas of what can be done other than just complain about the high cost of health care?
Should Rx companies have to state the origin of their drug on TV commercials?

I have an unusually high electrical bill for September, a month in which I was cautious in the appliances, fans, etc, that were running for the entire month. Yet still the electical bill is incorrectly high.
I called, and they meter will be reread, but all the same, if I wanted to pursue this further, is there another agency that oversees the operations of utility companies, in the possibility that the meter was misread and the matter won't be resolved by the electic company?

Thanks.

I'm going to Mauritius in about two weeks and am trying to sort out my car transfers from the airport to my hotel and also the excursions I want to go on.

I have contacted about three or four companies who all want me to email my credit card details, expiry date and three digit code at the back of the card should I wish to proceed...

I really don't want to do this. They cannot accept Paypal as Mauritius is not one of the listed countries which can receive it. I cannot do a bank transfer as I will be charged to do so... I also doubt they will let me pay on arrival [in case from their point of view I don't show up]...

I really don't know what to do.. I really do not want to email or fax my credit card details to them for obvious reasons....
