I am the lead sale's associate at a dollar general store, the manager position is available, does anyone know a good site that would have information on this?

Mostly doing what you do now but being more responsible for the outcome of sales. Hiring, firing, hitting your target sales, setting plans, ordering,stocking, working when nobody else can, longer hours, delegating, dealing with reps and bad customers ect. Like I said mostly what your doing now but your the one who is responsible if things don't get done and sales don't get reached. Talk to your district manager about the position. Tell then you would like to know what it intales and that you are interested. They will know what you do and how to tell you if your ready. Go for it.
