People get paid for the hours and days they actually work (or should be paid that way). There is no standard of getting paid for 20 days in a month unless there is some arrangement between employer and employee.

I would expect to get paid for the days i worked.

Suppose it depends on how you get paid. Some people are paid on a specific day each month i.e. 15th, others get paid at a specific time i.e. the last wednesday.

So there are not always 28 days in a pay period, and you would get paid accordingly.

I get paid at the end of each month, sometimes this means its 5 weeks pay, so i get 25 days pay.

with the sda union in retail and fast food, only management are allowed to be rostered for 20 days per 4 wk period anything above that is supposed to be overtime and for regular team members their roster can not exceed 19 days, then again alot of salaried staff in retail dont have time cards and could work non stop all monthand it doesnt show

Now the fun happens....we reap what we sow. Other people will see your
posting and do the exact same thing, bringing you lots and lots of

On average, there are 22 work days a month, if you work five days a week. Some months there are only 20 work days for a five-day work week. So it depends on what month it is, as well as whether you work a five-day week, etc.
