Hello all,

My wife and I recently moved into a new house in a new state and in the process needed to get new phone service. Now everyday about 7 or 8 times at all hours of the night we're getting calls for people who used to have this phone number. We've told them many times that the people they're looking for don't live here, but they keep calling. I tried calling the phone company to change my number but they want to charge me like $250 to do that, and I
refuse. Do I have any legal recourse? or any other options to get these people to stop calling for someone who doesn't live here?

Thanks,

Let's say .02 cents of dividends are to be paid on outstanding shares of common stock (18000 shares) and there are (2000 ) outstanding shares of preferred stock, do we just do .02 cents * 20000 for the amount of shares? I was used to just doing .02*commonstock outstanding but now preferred stock is involved and i'm confused.
Thanks!

While looking through some old boxes, I've found deeds from various companies that total several thousand dollars (Canadian) at the time. They were primarily Canadian and the companies included "Premium Tire and Rubber Company", along with others. How would I be able to figure out if they still had any value?

I'm working on a paper and am trying to compare control premium indices, stock market growth, and some other variables. I've searched several databases and online journals, and have come up with some interesting articles, but not the numbers or graphic interpretations for the control premiums. If ANYBODY can help me I would appreciate it. Thanks!

I am a supervisor in a doctor's office. I have an employee that has a degree in women's studies, and she is making all employees in her area miserable. She does her job, but his very rude, disrespectful, and lets others know that she is documenting everything they do, even though this is not her job. How do I legally get rid of this employee? On what grounds can I fire her. The only reason she is really still there is because she knows whose butt she needs to kiss. The doctor loves her.

My parents found 5 $20 bills at a grocery store. My mom was asking me what I would do. I told her what I thought. What they had done was different. Just curious as to what other people would do.
