in my gym class, while playing vollyball, me and this girl tried to hit the ball at the same time and accidentaly i broke her bracelet and i was bleeding a little. she wants me to now give her 10 dollars to fix her bracelet. this bracelet wasnt expensive, just normal type. what should i do, should i give her in full amount, give her in half or not give her the money at all? ( i am a high school senior, Robert).

offer her half, but let her know that you got hurt, and wearing jewlery isn't smart in volleyball. then go to your school and complain about the lax gym teacher that let her wear the jewelery, and how it injured you, then sue the school for millions :)

Give her half and tell her not to wear jewelery for sports. Then ask for 10 dollars for cutting you through her dangerous thoughtlessness. That bracelet could have taken my eye out! etc.

Sounds like it was just an accident (of course). She shouldn't ask for any money, in my opinion. If she's going to wear a bracelet while playing volleyball then it's under her responsibility that it could break.. therefore, her fault.

Given the situation, I would meet her halfway and pay for half of it. Accidents happen. It's not entirely your fault.
