My parents found 5 $20 bills at a grocery store. My mom was asking me what I would do. I told her what I thought. What they had done was different. Just curious as to what other people would do.

I told my mom I would mention it to the service desk and leave my phone number and if someone asked about it to call me. My mom said they turned it in, and if nobody claimed it within 30 days they would get to keep it. But 30 days sounds like a long time to me to realize you were missing $100. So even if nobody claims it, I have a feeling they won't be seeing the money. That's why I figured have the person call me.

Also if you didn't turn it in, nobody would know it was you who found it anyways. Finders keepers, losers weepers, right? Or is that too harsh in this case?

No wallet attached, I'd pocket it. I would hold on to it and keep an eye on the lost and find in the newspaper. If no one reports it missing I'm going to get some early Christmas shopping done. After all the Lord works in mysterious ways. Right?

I would have gone up to the store manager and said I have found some money but would not say how much. I would then ask them to make an announcement asking if anyone had lost some money (they would have still been in the store at that point) the first person to give the amount and the correct number and denomination of the bills would get the money.

Turn them in to the service desk. The person who lost it might really need it. Also, if money is not claimed within a certain amount of time, it is given to the person who found it.

well u can turn it in but who is NOT gonna claim it and how do they prove it is theirs. there's no reason why u cant keep it as there is no way to prove who it belongs to. u can also take it and give it to a charity or a church if u r so inclined and would feel guilty about keeping it, although i really don,t know why as there is no way any one can prove they lost it. I mean if u found it and walked up to the person in front of u and asked "did u loose this?" what do u really think the majority of people will say.
i'd keep it myself.

i would hand it in at the store not because i am some perfectly moral person(ok maybe a little bit!)but because it may have belonged to somebody who could not afford to lose i The money would be fun to spend for seconds but just imagine how much more happy the person who lost it would be when they get it back? Priceless indeed!

If there was no way to identify the person who lost it (ask people near where the money was found) then I guess I would keep it or better yet give it to someone less fortunate. It's not my money.

Trying to be honest with you.
Hope this helps.

I would turn it in at the service desk. If someone came and claimed it, I would hope they would return it to them. If not, then I wouldn't have it on my conscience that I had something that belonged to someone else. Honest is the best policy!

related to what somebody reported above approximately human beings being nutrition snobs, this is the main ridiculous remark. human beings do in contrast to paying extra for his or her canines nutrition just to gloat, yet they are responsive to that's lots extra healthful for his or her puppy. food market manufacturers incorporate fillers and by way of-products. ..by way of-products are the diseased area of the animal the area they are in a position to't use for human intake so it makes that's way into your canines nutrition. in any case to respond to the question...is there a Costco close to you? If there is their Kirkland form is great. If no longer you should consistently seem up uncooked feeding or something, you should probable order your canines nutrition on line and characteristic it sent to you. Feeding your canines food market manufacturers isn't the top of the international, in case you should, then you definitely ought to.

I would take it to the customer service desk and hand it in, if I lost that much I would be quite distressed, so I am sure others would too, and anyway, my integrity is important to me.

I would have probably turned it in to the grocery store, because I would feel guilty about it later.
