Can anyone provide a link/s to info. on the different medicare supplement plans, to compare them. We are considering Blue Cross Blue Shield, but would just like the info. about coverage. We can get quotes later, thanks. I've tried to find this info on my own. This is for my elderly mother. Thanks!

I would like to get life insurance, I am single, going to be 23 years old, I dont need anything major but i would like enough to pay off all of my bills and student loans, if something should happen. What would you recommend getting. I have done a google search but that just overwhelmed me with all the different places. Any suggested would be useful. Thank You.

Question is, how much would the average, law abiding citizen actually need this service? I think if I had more friends in need, I'd sell it. But I don't. They are all pretty much good people- tax paying - job holding - grownups who aren't really going to get into a legal scrape. I know there's an offchance that they may have to draw up a will, or have some inheritance sorted out, but wouldn't that one time be cheaper than paying for a plan they wouldn't use?
As you can probably tell, I'm not comfortable with selling someone something they don't need. I guess I'm what can be considered sas an "honest salesperson" (an oxymoron I know!). I really need hhelp with this decision, so any answers positive are negative are welcomed. Thanks so much!

Hi. I am becoming an insurance sales agent. I am concerned because every company promises the world, and none of them really talk about how to get people to ask for what you are offering.

There are lead companies, but they all promise the world too. Since more than half of what I am being shown is non-sense, is there anyone who can point me in the right direction?

Are there any newer agents that have been successful? And if so, can you share with me what you did to make people want your services?

Do you have anything of value that entices people? Something! I really dont want to feel like I am pulling teeth to get people's business.

Thanks so much.

The company I work for recently switched from Blue Cross and Preferred Care to United Health Care. Thus far I have had numerous problems with United Health Care; could not retrieve temporary ID cards until the second week of January because there was a problem with entering the enrollment forms, misspelled my name which kept me from using insurance to refill a prescription and had to pay out of pocket, insurance claims are very slow, and poor customer service. Anyone else have feedback on United Health?

Also, is United Health an acutal insurance company or a TPA who simply processes our claims? If someone could shed some light on this it would be much appreciated.
