my company has been bought out on dec.1, 2006 and the new owners said that they will not honor vacation time that was previously granted by the former owners. I have been there 12 years and was scheduled to take my last vacation on dec. 5, 2006.i was told that the new owners would not pay for it, is this illegal?

are highley quailfied for a job but are turned away because of there credit Its not right. how are people going to pay off there credit and bills with no job? by emplyers doing this the unemployment rate will go up and the welfare rate will go up meaning state taxes will go up. I'm an 18 year college student. never owned a credit card but have had a bank account and debit card for about 6 months now.

as a college student i know there are many cards geared towards me with many free goodies. i'd really like a card that provides flyer miles. any card that can do this and i can get?

ive never owned a credit card so im sure i have no credit.

help, i owe the irs back taxes from 2004. I usually get a n RAL from H&R Block each year without problems, will i still get one this year or will the irs grab it first, and does H&R Block's bank inform the irs before giving me my RAL or does the irs find out when my w-2 is sent to them by H&R Block?

I really want to be a social worker, but with pay that low I probablly would spend a good portion of my life just trying to survive and pay off college loans. I saw on tv, a real estate guy sold a malibu house for almost two million and he got $173,000 for commission. He showed it too a friend for two showings and some paper work...how did the realestate percentage get set at current rates??? I will never get it. Rick

ok i am 16 my first job was with papa johns and i like tottaly quit without giving a 2 week notice because the manager was pissing me off and she took me off the schedule so i just left! and i ofcourse dont want to put that on the application so what would be a good reason for that one??? now the job i am applying for now is a grocery store kroger were i'm applying to be a bagger and i just recently was a bagger at another grocery store but i was fired from there so i was thinking about putting on the application that i still work there because i know that they probly wont call them if im still working there but what would be a good reason for leaving there and going to a rival grocery store?????and do u think they will find out that i dont work there anymore? plz help

I have contacted my previous boss asking her to provide me with at least a copy of my W2 to file my income tax...but she said I have to pay 59.00 dlrs to get it. Is that right? I'd just like to get some feedback and information on that...I just don't think it's right that I have to pay for something that belongs to me.
Isn't that kind of stopping me from doing my income tax return?
