In texas we have the "common law marriage" thing .. so i was wondering if i could file my income tax as married or should i just claim myself? Which one would be better?

I've been working as a Mainframe Shift Analyst Third Shift for the last 7 years, basically fixing mainframe problems or helping others.

The only reason I'm keep doing this job is the salary above 70k, but I'm feeling this job is taking a hit on me, physically, mentally, profesionally and mentally.

Maybe I want to spend more time with my family, but with a less salary, a lot of thing are going to change, If I can't get a job with the same salary.

My skills are almost the same, my fault I know, but right now I'm feeling like I have to do something about it.

Any advise of what to do or how to approach this situation.

Went to the doctor, entire visit added up to about 550.00. He billed my insurance first for cortisone injection at a total of 134.00 and got paid 91.00, month later he billed insurance for same procedure (only went one time to the doctor) at 1434.00 (same cortisone injection) and got paid 961.00. So he got over 1000.00 for a 550.00 visit and now has billed be for an additional 285.00. I don't think I should have to pay this, but need to know who to contact to find out if I am liable for this payment. Any suggestions???

Can you train yourseIf? I mean if you study from very helpful textbooks and buy other necessary training aids. And you decide you are ready for the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) exam, will they let you take the exam?
There aren't any Pharmacy Technician training schools in my state of residence.

I am a teenager and want a job that pays ATLEAST 8 dollars an hour, but would prefur 10+. I work as an expo
in a mexican restaurant right now making 8$ an hour, plus tips...but it is a new restaurant and i have worked their since it opened,
they pay good but i dont get scheduled enough and usually only work weekends..anyways..

i want to find a new job that pays good. how much do you think companies like "wings 2 go" pay their employees? What about someone
that works in a hotel? I am only 17 so I can't be a waiter, bartender or anything. help!

also, nothing like target, H.E.B...etc

I have a very strong work history and have never been fired from a job before. However, my last boss and I had strong differences. I wanted to quick within 2 months of being there but my family told me to stick it through as long as I could handle the situation while also looking for another job. I could take it no longer-cleaned out my desk one night before leaving and the next morning after I conducted an employee meeting-he fired me. I am feeling really unsure of how to answer the question.."so why did you leave your previous employer?" Any ideas?

The minimum down payment is 20% but I can liquidate enough cash to pay 40%. Should I do as large of a down payment as possible to minimize my monthly payments? Or should I take out as much money as possible on a loan to maximize my deductible mortgage interest payments and subsequent tax benefits? Do these benefits outweight the costs of borrowing extra? And Is the extra cash on hand better off invested elsewhere than being put towards the down payment?

My credit score is excellent and I'm confident we can get good rates from lenders. We have some investments with decent returns but are not diligent investors that get outstanding ROIs on our portfolios.

I have a good job, and will go on maternity leave in August, I have ALWAYS wanted my own bookstore, the opportunity has come up for me to buy one, does anyone know if there are regulations in Canada on having your own business while on maternity leave? Plus, has anyone else out there done something similar? Is it crazy for me to take this on when pregnant?
