We were expecting an ice storm which never arrived, and 3 nurses who are 12 hour shifters on my unit called in because they were afraid of getting stuck in the hospital. 2 of them live in town. They came up with every excuse in the book not to be at work. I went to work and drove home 25 miles with no problems.
I save my vacation hours in case I would like to go somewhere and other nurses use up their hours then want to take time off anyway and the supervisor gives it to them making us work short and and understaffed. My phone does not stop ringing at home for me to come into work because someone has called in or they are understaffed. What happened to responsibility. I feel like I am blessed to have a job. I single parented 2 kids into adulthood and never called in. Should I just quit my job now or plann some time off? I am burnt out

Total assets = $520,000
Total liabilities = $200,000

There were no stock transactions in 20X3 and thus the change in stockholders' equity for 20X3 was due to net income and dividends. If dividends were $30,000, how much was the net income for 20X3?

The answer is $160,000... but I have no idea how the book got to that answer...

Does anyone know where to sell a car/house/furniture online free?
I don't want to go through ebay that asked for my credit card just to post ads for selling my car, house, and furniture. I already tried Craigslist, but only fakes/scammers responded. Are there any other free online sites that sell property...etc. I live in Virginia, and MD, DC are 15-30 minute away.

Is it ok to surrender my car back to the bank before my Chapter 7 Bankruptcy is finalized? I've already attended the hearing, I am expecting a successful Chapter 7 release soon but not sure exactly what date, I have the car listed on my Debtors Statement of Intention as "Surrender", the next car payment is due this Saturday, I don't have the money to pay it, will I jeapordize my Chapter 7 release by surrendering the car back to the bank now, should I wait until my release arrives in the mail, or does the timing of this not really make a difference?

My husband and i are moving from Clearwater Florida to Orange County Cal. I am ready to pull my hair out due to i am getting no where with the realistate people. I am looking for a realitor who can show me what i want by showing me pictures of the homes they have and i dont have the time to sit on the phone with them. That is why i prefer the email. I just had a phone interview with a big company but the guy who asked me the questions had a thick accent that I could not understand. If I paused just to figure out what he was saying, he thought I didnt know the answer and gave me the answer or said forget it. He talked about one topic and jumped to the next still making me think we are talking about the same topic. I know that if I talked with someone else that I could understand, then my interview would go really well. I have the email of someone in HR who I ask for the results of the interview...can I request for another interview by explaining the situation to them? What do you do in these situations? I want to email the HR person...what should I write in the email? Please let me know your experiences and your suggestions on what I should do in this situation and what I should write in the email. I dont want to lose this chance. He ended the interview within 20-30 mins... =(

I live in Washington state. Sixteen years ago, My husband and I moved from town out into the country, we had our phone transfered from one prefix to another, stayed with the same phone company, just got a new number with new prefix. Just 2 days ago we get a letter in the mail from a collection company saying we owe the phone company over 2 thousand dollars from the phone number in town. There is a huge mistake somewhere, we dont owe this amount but can someone really go back 16 years and try to collect a debt?
