So I am working on starting up a computer repair and upgrade company. It's part-time for me, but I do plan on hiring a tech full-time to do work in people's homes. How important is it for me to get some sort of insurance for him? For example if he accidentally trips and breaks something in the persons house...or something along those lines.

My resume starts off with my objective. “To obtain a challenging position where I can benefit the company by professionally handling all assigned duties and grow in responsibilities as needed." After that I feel that it falls short of what I am trying to convey, I list my skills and education, and then finally my brief relevant work history... I read somewhere that an interviewer or someone who is hiring someone- only takes 15 seconds or less to review a resume and if they don’t see anything that catches their attention- it gets trashed... WHAT CAN I DO TO MAKE MY RESUME EYE-CATCHING? How do I reinstate everything in my resume for an effective and good cover letter that will get me an interview...

I'm in my 20's and I'm investing in 401K, I would like to retire between the ages of 55 & 65. I currently make around 42k and I'm investing 6% as of now because it's the maximum my company will match. I'm not really a follower of the stocks and bonds but I do know to invest aggresively while I'm young. Just wondering how long should I invest aggresive and what are the basic do's and don't that I need to know (what should I watch out for). Also what is a good figure that I can expect to be my annual rate of return throughout my life when calculating on a 401K calculator?
Thanks Ben

My wife has started a new job 2 months ago. She has told me that her lead operator/supervisor is criticizing her on most everything she does. This person is just mean toward her. My wife has gone to her Manager and complained about the abuse, but nothing has changed.

While my wife works at a different location than I do, we both work for the same company. While she is an hourly employee, I am in middle to upper management. I suspect this could be some of the problem, the lead operator may think, I got her the job, which I did not. I also suspect that the lead may want to get my wife to quit, because, if the lead were to do something wrong, it could get back to upper management, resulting in her getting reprimanded or fired. I don't want to do go to my immediately bosses, and complain but the situation at work for my wife is getting frustrating, for both of us. She still has 30 days left of her probation.

He is a drug addict. I actually have a restraing order on him. I tried to contact him about selling the house and he responded that he would burn the house down with me in it if I tried to sell. He has since got married to someone. There is already one lein on the property. He stopped paying his bills. I want to sell before something bad happens. I had to file bankruptcy 2 years ago. He started his own contruction business and I was funding it. I bought him an excavator etc. He lost everything because he bit off more than he could chew and wouldn't listen to me. I feel he should just sign the house over to me. Don't think he should have any right to the equity since my debt was $60,000 and I have been paying the mortgage, taxes, insurance by myself. I just want to move on. Don't want to be connected to him in any way anymore.

I am a leasing agent and I have to do market surveys, well I have some apartments do not want to give out information such as : how many apartments they have total what the break down is etc.... anyone have any unique ways of getting this info out of snooty properties besides calling and acting like a person looking because the questions I ask has nothing to do with someone just looking, such as occupancy.

Four years ago, i got a contract phone from the Car-phone Warehouse, the provider was t-mobile and on the same day I took out an insurance policy. Every year afterwards I got an upgrade, I never cancelled my policy and the direct debits continued to come out every month from my account. On the 18th November 2006 my upgrade was a sony K800i, last week i dropped my phone and broke the 'inner' screen, i immediately phoned the Carphone Warehouse (whom I have paid a substantial amount of money to over the last few years) to find out if they would fix it, and they informed me that as I had upgraded with t-mobile i was not covered (and hadn't been covered for 3 years). The money I have therefore paid was for absolutely no reason! I now would like to insurance my phone with a decent insurance company, any suggestions??? How soon after i insure can I ask them to fix my phone??? Any replies would be greatly appreciated.

I like the idea of being a doctor, but to be honest with myself, I'm not that hard of a worker. My grades are average (A's, B's, and a couple of C's. But I've never had lower than a C). My strengths are in science (usually the kind that doesn't require a lot of math), English, and history. I'm only fond of kids from a distance, I have problems meeting deadlines because I often procrastinate on things I don't want to do, and I don't think I'd be able to stand sitting in a cubicle all day. I want something that will keep my interest and keep me entertained--I work my hardest for things I enjoy.

I do plan on going to college. I'll go to the best college willing to accept me.

Other careers I have thought about are: archaeology, environmental science, wildlife biology, photography, writing, astronomy, journalism, psychology
