Where do I go to apply for an FHA Loan?

What is the criteria to get the loan?
If I can get one of their grants for the down payment, do I still need to have some of my own money for the closing costs?
What credit score do I need?

I have been checking out on internet, but have seen those kits for sale in order to get such information. I am sure that someones out there know about such grant and how to obtain it. Can you please advise? Thank you.

I am obsesssed with saving money to the point that I try not to spend any at all in the UK.

I check the cost of everything and take so long making up my mind if I want something or not that in the end I decide I dont need the item after all and the money stays in the bank.

I always get this feeling that everything is overpriced and not worth the asking price.
Its got so bad that I now fly to the USA to buy clothes and shoes and stuff.

Is there a way I can relax and enjoy spending ..??

I have a question about the following tax situation.
I run three home based businesses with my wife that were started in 2005. I also work full time. Through all of these businesses we have made about $1500.00.
We have expenses such as printing materials, Internet, Phone, Mileage, ebay fee's, advertising costs, website setup and maintanence. Thus far we have not gotten any kind of biz license, filed a ficticious name or anything else
My main questions are:
1. What are the pro's and con's of doing an LLC that operates them all versus simply filing a Schedule C with my Tax ID? If i do this now before the end of the year will it apply to this whole year. or do I start fresh with next year as an LLC.

2. I would like to buy a computer before years end and be able to amortize (?) it all this tax year using the "hummer clause" (section 117 ?) ?
3. What is the best accounting software for setting things up...
4. Are there small biz tax softwares that really work well.
Thanks

For those investing in real estate properties, I wanted to get your opinion if it's a good idea to down 20% or to down as little as possible? What I'm finding is that downing 20% leaves me little room for money to invest in other properties but I enjoy a better interest rate and a lower monthly payment.

I really dislike my boss...she is difficult and aloof and just a very harsh person. But, on the other hand...I like my coworkers. I work in a halfway house and like the residents of the house. Should I quit my job (its a 2nd job...) and save myself the headaches that go along with it or stick it out. How can I confront my boss about her obnoxious behavior without her turning on me. Anyone whos been in a similar situation...advice would be helpful! Thanks.

I've never cosigned for anything with anyone so I'm not sure what to do. She's asked her parents and they've said no. My mom advised me not to do it. The loan is 4000, however she can't get it on her own. I'm not sure what to do.She promised to make all the payments on time etc etc, however I'm still not too sure. I told her I'd think about it and get back to her. I take really good care of my credit, pay my bills on time etc etc and I really don't want to mess it up. She told me that I'm her last hope, and I feel bad but I"m not sure if I'm willing to risk my credit in the process.. I'm thinking I'd rather my cousin stop talking to me than my credit getting f'd up. What should I do? Is this a disaster waiting to happen? I'm curious to read your opinions on it and any horror stories if possible.. Thanks in advance everyone :).

The UK skills shortage is frequently in the news at present. Is there really a skills shortage ? If so, why are so few companies offering training such as apprenticeships and graduate development programmes. Perhaps it is just too expensive and they would rather shift the blame to schools, colleges and Universities so that their short term approach is disguised. They can then further reduce their costs by recruiting foreign staff.
