I am looking for software which assist gas stations in keeping inventory and get the cost of gasoline in the tanks. There was a company which made such a software. It was from site www.qtanks.com, but as it seems the site is no longer operating and I have done searches to find a smiliar program but no luck.
The program was designed to keep track of different fuel prices as they are delivered to stations. I need helping tracking down the prerson who wrote or sold the software. Only thing I have is his email from the site and since the site is down it is no longer working also.
For example - If the fuel is delievered on Monday, the cost of the fuel is $2.25 per gallon, 10,000 gallons were delievered, in two days the station sells 5000 gallons, leaving 5000 gallons in tank. On Wed another delievery is made for 7000 gallons, this time the price is $2.30 per gallon. So the total amont of gas in tank is now 12000 gallons but at the two different prices. This software helps keep track

I need to get a few end-of-day share prices for some plcs, but am confused by different listings many have under the same or similar name.

The LSE's website has like 5 pages of listings for some companies.. with subsection companies listed off the main company.

Is there a source which gives just the GBP share price for the main companies - or is there any way of telling which is the main company?

I typically work part-time and get paid hourly. I also do travel with groups and have to go out of town. I recently went out of town for three days. My first day - between morning flight and dinner (with client on arrival until bed) I was going for about 18 hours. Second day - 8 hours and then third day was 12 hours by the time I got home. Granted I was out of the country for those three days.

The company I work for is great - they are a small company - who takes us to lunch weekly and on my trip paid for a massage. Should I just clock 8 hours for each of those days? I wish there was a legal manual for this. I had a trip last year out of country with a large group and only charged 8 hours each day - even though it was more. What do you think is the proper way to handle this?

What do you think would happen to the individual? Does the DOJ routinely impose sentences for imprisonment? Or is it more likely that the IRS would simply fine the person and demand payment in full for all taxes, penalties and fines? If they sentence the person to prison, how likely is it that they will be able to begin paying restitution?

Of course this circumstance assumes that the person is a U.S. citizen, fully aware of the obligation to pay taxes, yet willfully neglecting to file/pay.

I graduated college this summer and worked a part time job before that. Is my 2006 total income small enough to get all my taxes that I paid back? (I've paid about $3000 in taxes this year). Thanks!

I am wanting to apply for a position that does a background check for the last 15 years and wants to know EVERY job I have held in that time period. I had several jobs in different fields as a college student and I honestly don't think I can remember the exact dates, length of time of every job I held while I was in school and only working part-time, ect. I can't just selectively edit because if I miss a job I previously held, I would be automatically disqualified.

It's been going on for a few years now - and it's a quite brilliant piece of marketing strategy as the company's colours are somewhat Christmassy.

Has anyone else noticed this - are you one of the dolts this stuff actually works on and find yourself thinking you most stuck up on Coke for the festive period?

Or, like me, do you just find it amusing?

Do you think they'll go the whole hog in a few years and actually try and call themselves the official sponsor of Christmas?

Does it actually make you want to drink more Pepsi Max - 'cause it's by far the best cola drink out there...?

A month ago, I applied for a job in the graphic design field. I met all of the qualifications, and was called in for an interview, which I felt went quite well. I was told that the company would be calling for second interviews within a week. The owner handed me a business card and told me that I was free to check back with him any time.

The next day, I sent a thank-you letter. I waited the allotted week, and after not hearing anything back, I called. I was given a receptionist, to whom I left a message stating that I was checking on the status of my application. I was told the owner would call me back. He never did.

It doesn't bother me so much that I didn't get the job, but I feel like I put quite a bit of effort into it... updating my portfolio, sending a resume, travelling to the interview (which was an hour away), and mailing a thank-you letter.

Am I wrong to think it would be proper to at least send a letter or email saying that the position has been filled?

Is anyone else having problems with this crowd ?
I paid my loan off in 02 then got a bill for £120, I asked "what's this ?" and was told "Charges for late payments !".
I paid by direct debit on the same day every month !
At the moment it's up to £187 and I'm complaining long and loud.
Anyone else in the same boat here?
There must be a member of parliament in charge of all this ?
Anything at all will help

I have a question for a tax class that i can't seem to find an answer to, can someone help me wit this.

Say i were to put up a 100,000$ reward for information leading the the arrest and conviction of a murderer, lets just say who killed a family member. Someone gives information and the murderer is convicted. I contribute the money to the police department, who then pays the informant. Is the 100,000$ considered an itemized deduction for me?

Can i reset the 30 days, telling them i can't make the full payment within this time frame, but rather settle next month instead ? can i call them and do this ?
it was a sears card $1000 max. I guess interest grew to $1900, with 6 months no payment with Sears, and then 31/2 years collections. It grew to $1900 total after roughly 4 years.

What should the settlement be ratio? Does $1200 sound alright ?
or they can settle for less ? i have only $800 ?

there is a trucking company with a million dollar liability policy, and a car makes an illegal u-turn in front of this trucking company's truck. the trucking company and the driver are decided to 100% not at fault, but a lawsuit is filed against the trucking company regaurdless.

the lawsuit goes to mediation and it is decided that the lawyers and families of those killed will recieve the one million dollar insurance policy.

can the trucking company expect their insurance rates to go up, or possibly even be cancelled, even though it was decided that the accident wasn't the trucking company, or the driver's fault?

I am doing contract work for a law firm. There are approximately 60 attorneys on one floor in an open environment (no cubicles). The floor is run by 2 managers. One of the managers gives preferential treatment to two specific contract employees. This manager is 22 years old and fraternizes with these two people while enforcing the policy on everyone else. Numerous complaints have been made to his superiors to no avail. I'm at my wits end with this hypocrisy.

After years of family, friends and co-workers asking me to bake them cakes, cookies, etc. for special events, I’ve decided to try to start a small bakery business from home. I’m be making candies, cookies, cakes, tarts, and maybe branching out into snack foods. Most of my business will be online orders, as I will have no actual place of business so to speak. I’m having a hard time coming up with names though. I live in the Adirondacks, and wanted something that would be cute on a label and that related to nature. I’m considering Firefly Foods, Fox Paw Pantry, Brown Bunny Bakery, Duck Pond Desserts, Dandelion Desserts. I’m open to any other suggestions or votes on favorites.
