My employers are paying my in cash and not claiming me as an employee on their taxes, so do I still have to claim this income on my taxes? I work another job in a restaurant and obviously file those taxes. I'm just not sure what i have to do about this nanny job.

Ok, I just got healthcare insurance. My deductible is 1200.00. What exactly does that mean? I have a "new patient" visit scheduled with a physician. Does this mean that I have to pay out of pocket for all doctor's visits up to $1200.00? How does my insurance company even know how much I have accumulated? What happens if I rarely see a physician? These are reasons I have declined insurance for many years, because I was worried that my premiums ($149.00) will just be spent on the "chance" I might get sick, and then when I do, I will still have to pay $1200.00 out of pocket before the insurance ever kicks in. I'm pretty healthy and it would take many pcp visits to accumulate $1200.00. THANKS FOR YOUR ANSWERS.

people tend to think its your tax dollars that pays for unemployment. Its not. Businesses pay for insurance that covers unemployment and causes their premiums to raise if claims are filed for them. So why does uncle sam get to charge u out the
a$ $ on taxes for something they never paid for?

Lets say that where you work there's a chance employers will get arrested for various reasons...all of course related to how a business is run. Do the employees have a chance to get arrested too even if they have nothing to do with why employers are being charged for and have no idea what's going on?

This is not a matter of needing to get around to writing one; it's more that I have absolutely nothing to put on it.

I haven't had a job since I was a teen-ager. While decent (receptionist, researcher-HTMLer-designer of web sites, etc), they were temporary, and the skills and people associated with them are so old as to be useless.

I spent a lot of time in school, though never, after switching majors four times, got around to finishing a degree. I spent some years out of the country (and couldn't work where I was), and was quite sick for a few years. I haven't done any formal volunteer work; I belong to no organisations, and have no notable qualifications.

Creative suggestions encouraged...
